The Role

The Implementation team at TravelPerk manages the onboarding of our new clients. We are looking for a German-speaking Onboarding Specialist responsible for executing and launching implementations within your portfolio. As an Implementation Specialist, you will analyze the specific needs of each customer to propose tailored implementation plans. Your success will be measured by the completion and adoption of the TravelPerk platform among your customers' users. You will be the subject matter expert in change management and will deliver a 7-star onboarding experience!

The role requires excellent communication, project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills. While familiarity with technical concepts like integrations and open APIs is helpful, you don't need to be an expert immediately.

What you’ll be doing :

  1. Lead cross-functional project teams to implement new clients successfully
  2. Plan, execute, control, and close projects, including requirements documentation and client communications
  3. Review contracts, optimize resources, and validate process quality
  4. Serve as the first point of contact for client escalations during onboarding
  5. Develop strategies to achieve account ramp-up goals
  6. Prioritize accounts according to client and business needs
  7. Communicate complex technical information clearly
  8. Ensure team members understand timelines, tasks, risks, and issues

What we look for :

  • Proven success managing projects in an international environment
  • Native or near-native German proficiency
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Experience implementing products for different clients
  • Experience in the travel agency or training sectors is a plus
  • Organized, structured, with strong analytical and recommendation skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Ability to build relationships internally and externally, adapting communication accordingly
  • Motivated by challenges and driven to make a difference

Nice-to-have but not essential :

  • Studies in Project Management
  • Experience in the travel industry
  • Prior SaaS implementation experience
