Wallapop is looking for a Product Manager to own the end-to-end Checkout and Payments experience from Barcelona. You will balance user friction with monetization, lead the payment ecosystem roadmap, and drive data-driven experiments to improve conversion and revenue.

You will guide cross-functional teams, ensure regulatory compliance (PSD2/GDPR) and evolve payment infrastructure with strong API and architecture discussions, contributing to a connected multi-market marketplace.

Formación

• 5-7+ years in Product Management with at least 3 years in Payments, Fintech, or E-commerce marketplaces.
• Strong understanding of payments lifecycle (Acquiring, Gateway, Escrow, Wallets).
• Experience with data-driven discovery and ML concepts is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Define the vision and roadmap for Checkout and Payments, prioritizing monetization and compliance.
• Design and implement new payment services with Operations, Finance and Data.
• Oversee payment workflows for regulatory compliance while maintaining user experience.
• Conduct data-driven discovery and A/B testing to optimize conversion and pricing.
• Lead cross-functional teams through the product lifecycle and ensure timely launches.
• Monitor performance and feedback to continuously improve the service.

In this role you will own the end-to-end checkout and payments experience at Wallapop, balancing user friction with monetization to enable millions of seamless, secure transactions. You will lead the payment ecosystem roadmap, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive data-driven experiments to optimize conversion and revenue. This is a high-impact position at a Barcelona-based scale-up focused on enabling a connected, multi-market marketplace. You will shape payment infrastructure and new services in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment.

• Strong technical acumen; ability to discuss API integrations and system architecture with engineers
• Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and analytical xqziphu abilities
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams to deliver product initiatives
• Experience with data-driven decision making and ML concepts; ML-based features is a plus
• English proficiency (Spanish a plus)
