Your Mission

As a Senior Product Designer for Advanced Trading, you will play a critical role in shaping the experience of professional and advanced traders using Bitpanda. We aim to deliver powerful, intuitive, and highly functional trading tools, empowering our users to navigate complex markets with ease.

You will own the experience design of our advanced trading platform “Bitpanda Fusion” and potentially more advanced order types in our broker. Your mission will be to create seamless, innovative, and expert-ready experiences for advanced trading users, enabling them to make informed trading decisions quickly and confidently on mobile and desktop.

What You’ll Do

• Design Advanced Trading Experiences : Craft user interfaces and experiences tailored to the needs of professional traders, focusing on features like detailed charting tools, advanced order types, orders books, real-time data, and order management.
• Own End-to-End Design : Lead projects from initial concept to launch, including user research, wireframing, prototyping (low to high fidelity), testing, and refining designs based on feedback and insights.
• Leverage User Research : Conduct in-depth research and usability testing to understand the unique requirements and behaviors of advanced traders. Use these insights to create impactful designs that resonate with this user base.
• Promote Design Excellence : Advocate for high standards in usability, accessibility, and visual design while contributing to Bitpanda’s design system to ensure consistency across platforms.
• Mentor and Advocate : Support peers, act as a voice for user experience, and help the team operate efficiently while maintaining a high level of design maturity.
• Measure Success : Use qualitative and quantitative data to validate design decisions and demonstrate the impact of your work on user satisfaction, engagement, and trading activity.

Who You Are

• You have 3+ years of experience designing complex products or applications, preferably within fintech, or a high-growth tech environment and skilled at designing for professional or advanced traders, with an understanding of their workflows, challenges, and needs.
• You are able to translate complex functionality into intuitive interfaces that enable quick decision-making and efficient trading.
• You bring a range of UX design skills, including strong UX research or content design capabilities, and excel at handling projects with minimal direction in a dynamic environment.
• You’re proficient in tools like Figma, Miro, JIRA, and enjoy exploring new technologies and design trends.
• You’re passionate about understanding user behavior and needs, leveraging UX research, quantitative and qualitative data to create innovative solutions.
• You work seamlessly with stakeholders to define project goals, timelines, constraints, and priorities.
• You have a strong foundation in interaction design, with an eye for detail and a focus on creating delightful user experiences.
