As a Sr. Product Designer at Ubisim, your mission will be to create web and VR based solutions to train the next generation of patient-centric nurses. You’ll collaborate closely with Nurse Educators, Researchers, Product Managers, and Engineers to understand customer and user needs and design new innovative product capabilities and experiences.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborating with your team to discover and prioritize user needs and product opportunities balanced against business objectives.
2. Planning and co-leading research in collaboration with your Product Management and Research partners.
3. Identifying capabilities and features needed to solve customer and user needs.
4. Defining the intended experiences (thoughts, emotions, actions) for users as they interact with the platform and simulations.
5. Creating web and VR solution concepts, flows, wireframes, designs, and prototypes including defining their Information Architecture, Interactions, and Visual Design.
6. Iterating solutions through critique and usability testing.
7. Collaborating with Engineering partners to ensure that what is built and delivered aligns to the designed solution and desired outcomes.
8. Working with others to ensure we’re establishing clear design patterns and cohesive end-to-end experiences.
9. Helping the team reflect and improve on how they work.
10. Contributing to the design system and helping the design team collaborate to create consistent experiences across the platform.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of user experience design for software or other complex UI experiences.
2. Experience designing for health care preferred.
3. Skilled in defining and articulating experiences through artifacts like conceptual models, narratives, flows, and experience maps.
4. Expertise in human-centered design and research practices.
5. Strong information architecture, interaction design and interface design skills.
6. Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design considerations and best practices.
7. An analytical approach to evaluating and iterating on new solutions and features.
8. Proven ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers.
9. Strong interest in the learning, and in improving how customers and users interact with our platform.
