The ideal candidate will have a strong quantitative background and experience in data analysis, A/B testing, and visualization tools.

We are looking to welcome yet another brilliant Game Data Analyst into our Analytics team, where you will lead the Dragon City analytics team, work to understand our gamers’ behavior, and work with the game teams to improve the product, drive retention & user conversion. Applying quantitative analysis, data science, statistics & programming, you’ll draw business insights that add real value to Socialpoint. To truly make an impact you’ll need to learn quickly & work well in a fast-paced environment while collaborating closely with analytics & game teams.

What will you do in Socialpoint?

• Lead the Dragon City analytics team, collaborating with senior stakeholders and analytics leads to define the analytics roadmap and the experimentation strategy.
• Work with the game development teams to provide insights into user behavior and answer key business questions, turning our vast amount of data into actionable insights and transferable learnings.
• Visualize and communicate the results of your analysis to senior stakeholders, making data driven recommendations that support key decisions.
• Design and analyze A / B tests and other causal impact analysis to assess the impact of new features and changes.
• Continuously educate stakeholders on data literacy and analytics best practices, to ensure they are empowered and autonomous to run analytically correct analysis.
• Occasionally participate in advanced analytics projects, teaming up with other game data scientists & analysts to develop data tools and products.

Requirements

• 4-5 years experience applying analytics to answer business questions and mine for insights that drive value.
• A bachelor degree in a quantitative field (e.g Stats, Maths, Physics, Engineering).
• Highly proficient in SQL as well as Python for data exploratory analysis.
• Experience with A / B testing.
• Strong analytical skills in applied statistics. Prior experience with bayesian statistics is a plus.
• Experienced creating dashboards and visualizing findings with a front-end visualization tool like Tableau or Looker.
• Experienced designing and analyzing randomized experiments.
• A fast learner, highly meticulous and proactive individual.
• Pragmatic, you know how to balance short term and long term deliverables.
• A team player, you establish effective relationships to work with others for the win.
