Hiring Senior Buyer (Spanish Speaker) - Remote from Spain

Client Company Introduction:

Our client company offers quality products at competitive prices with unmatched customer service and integrity to retail, wholesale, and distribution partners.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Build and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure good deals and timely deliveries.
  2. Solve problems with suppliers related to orders, prices, and delivery delays.
  3. Oversee and manage Purchase Orders (P.O.s) to ensure sufficient stock without overstocking.
  4. Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages and excess inventory.
  5. Coordinate the setup of new items and vendors in the system, ensuring all information is accurate and current.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to integrate new products and suppliers into procurement processes.

Price Changes:

  1. Track and monitor supplier price changes, ensuring updates are reflected in purchase orders and inventory records.
  2. Communicate significant price changes to relevant teams and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.

Promotion / Deal Setup:

  1. Set up promotional offers and deals, ensuring accurate pricing and inventory management.
  2. Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to reflect promotions in procurement and inventory processes.
  3. Achieve quarterly rebates and discount targets by purchasing enough products.
  4. Guide and train Junior Buyers to develop their skills and knowledge.
  5. Work closely with Sales and Finance teams to align purchasing and inventory needs.
