About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Manager based in Portugal, with a strong background in indirect procurement, ideally within the hospitality or consulting industries. Your primary responsibilities will include managing key indirect spend categories such as housekeeping, cleaning services, OTAs, maintenance, linen, security, and energy (electricity & gas). This strategic and hands-on role requires deep market understanding, supplier management excellence, and the ability to drive cost efficiencies while supporting rapid business growth.

What You'll Do

1. Lead strategic procurement activities for all indirect categories across Europe.
2. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers across categories such as housekeeping, maintenance, linen, security, and energy.
3. Support the Numa team with procurement solutions that ensure quality, reliability, and scalability.
4. Drive cost optimization, quality improvements, and risk mitigation across all spend areas.
5. Develop relationships with internal stakeholders as a Business Partner, ensuring optimal purchasing decisions for Numa.
6. Develop local supplier strategies aligned with Numa's pan-European procurement approach.
7. Manage tender processes and lead contract negotiations with key vendors.
8. Monitor market trends, new suppliers, and innovations in indirect spend categories.

About You

• 4+ years of experience in indirect procurement, preferably in hospitality or management consulting.
• Proven knowledge of suppliers and service models for categories such as housekeeping, cleaning, maintenance, security, linen, OTAs, F&B, and utilities.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Hands-on mentality, as the department is young and not fully automated, offering opportunities to leave a significant footprint.
• Experience working in dynamic, fast-scaling environments.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, maintaining strong communication with a global team.
• A solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
