Irizar Forge, a leading industrial forging company in Gipuzkoa, is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead the procurement team and align local execution with global strategy. The role reports to the Operations Director and interacts with Corporate Procurement.

Requirements include a engineering degree, 10+ years in procurement (industrial/metal sectors), strong strategic procurement and supplier management expertise, and fluent English. SAP knowledge is a plus.

Formación

At least 10 years of procurement experience, ideally in industrial or metal-related environments.
Experience in a managerial role is highly valued.
Strong strategic procurement and supplier management background, with negotiation skills.

Responsabilidades

Lead and develop the procurement team and collaborate cross-functionally (2 people).
Negotiate complex contracts and manage supplier relationships.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
Provide operational support to the team when necessary.
Improve purchasing costs, product quality, and on-time delivery.
Define short-, medium-, and long-term plans in line with strategy.
Monitor KPIs and report to local and corporate management.
Drive continuous improvement and investment initiatives.
Act as a key decision-maker and participate in business visits (travel required).
