Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Senior for Processes and Quality in Global Classification in Madrid. You will drive the standardization of customs processes, ensure compliance with trade regulations, and define KPIs through audits across the organization.

Travel up to 25% will be required as you guide operational customs teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to enhance data quality and digital solutions.

You will evaluate, plan, and document customs processes, particularly focusing on EU tariff classification. By defining and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through internal audits and spot checks, you will maintain high standards of quality and compliance. Your expertise will guide operational customs teams, making you a vital link between various stakeholders and ensuring smooth customs operations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Collaborate with Business Areas, Corporate Functions, IT, and external stakeholders to enhance classification processes, controls, digital solutions, and data quality.

What You Bring

Degree in Customs, International Trade, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline, with relevant professional experience in a global environment.

Strong knowledge of customs tariff classification processes, governance frameworks, and trade compliance requirements.

Proven experience in process management, quality management, governance, audits, controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Strong analytical capabilities with experience in KPI development, data analysis, root cause analysis, and risk identification.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global, cross-functional, and multicultural teams.

Availability to travel 25% of the time.
