A leading company in the engineering sector is seeking a Senior Process Safety Engineer to facilitate safety workshops and conduct quantitative risk assessments. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Chemical Engineering, possess significant experience in process safety, and be proficient in relevant software. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on critical projects while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Formación

• 5-10 years of experience in Process Safety within EPC companies or consultancy.
• Significant experience as a HAZOP chairman/facilitator.
• Experience in Hazardous Area Classification and Explosion Protection Documentation is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitating HAZOP, HAZID, SWIFT, LOPA, SIL Determination Workshops.
• Conducting Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA) with RISKCURVES software.
• Writing technical risk assessment reports in compliance with Seveso III Directive.

We are looking for a Senior Process Safety Engineer whose main functions will include:

1. Facilitating HAZOP, HAZID, SWIFT, LOPA, SIL Determination Workshops, among others.
2. Preparing the terms of reference, organizing workshops, and reporting on the outcomes of these workshops.
3. Performing radiation and dispersion modeling using EFFECTS software.
4. Conducting Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA) with RISKCURVES software.
5. Writing technical risk assessment reports in compliance with Seveso III Directive requirements.
6. Ensuring project schedule and budget are met with high-quality deliverables.
7. Reviewing documents from potential clients and preparing technical offers.

Qualifications:

Skills / Qualifications:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of experience in Process Safety within EPC companies or consultancy.
• Significant experience as a HAZOP chairman/facilitator.
• Knowledge of Physical Effects Modeling and Quantitative Risk Assessment software such as EFFECT, RISKCURVES, PHAST, SAFETI, etc.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience in Hazardous Area Classification and Explosion Protection Documentation is an advantage.
• Experience in other HSE / PSM areas is an advantage.
