About the Job

At W Executive, we are partnering with a multinational industrial group in the chemical sector that is looking to hire a Process and Optimization Engineer for its corporate team.

In this position, you will play a key role in optimizing plant economics, improving operational safety, and developing sustainable industrial processes. You will work closely with Operations, Engineering, and international teams to drive projects forward.

This position is based on-site in Cádiz.

Mission and Responsibilities

• Process Control and Optimization : Support the maximization of plant performance by adjusting variables to adapt to market conditions and raw materials. Define optimization strategies.
• Process Development : Propose new designs or equipment improvements to reduce costs, adapt to new inputs, and develop innovative products.
• Project Execution : Ensure that projects meet technical standards, are ready for commissioning, and maintain efficient capital investment.
• Process Safety : Promote a safety culture by identifying risks and applying protection systems.
• Operational Integrity : Maintain design conditions that ensure process reliability and durability.
• Knowledge and Benchmarking : Exchange best practices with other plants, conduct comparative process analyses, and contribute to technical training and global collaboration. Maintain updated historical records and technical documentation.

Candidate Profile (M / F / D)

• Degree in Chemical Engineering (mandatory).
• Fluent in Spanish and English ; knowledge of Portuguese, French, or Chinese is a plus.
