Irving Knight Group in Murcia, Spain is seeking a Process & Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead on-site efficiency initiatives on the manufacturing floor.

You will drive OEE improvements, map workflows, and develop SOPs, while deploying SMED, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and root-cause analysis to cut setup times and costs across production lines.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree and are willing to relocate to the Murcia region, with experience in flexible packaging sectors.

Formación

• University Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, or similar)
• Proven track record in flexible packaging, flexography, extrusion, or lamination sectors
• Experience leading continuous improvement or Lean Six Sigma projects with strong analytical capabilities
• Willingness to relocate to the Molina de Segura / Murcia region

Responsabilidades

• Drive plant efficiency by monitoring and improving KPIs (OEE, capacity, cost-per-hour)
• Deploy continuous improvement frameworks (SMED, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, root-cause analysis) to eliminate waste
• Map workflows, design SOPs, bridge engineering theory and shop-floor execution
• Use statistics to identify bottlenecks and execute cost-saving projects

Title: Process & Continuous Improvement Engineer

Location: Murcia, Spain (On-site)

Company Overview

A leading, highly innovative manufacturer specialising in flexible packaging solutions for the food, pharmaceutical, and consumer goods sectors. To support their rapid growth and commitment to efficiency, we are looking for a data-driven Process Engineer to spearhead continuous improvement initiatives on the manufacturing floor.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Drive plant efficiency by monitoring, measuring, and improving key performance indicators including OEE, production capacity, and cost-per-hour metrics.
• Implement and champion continuous improvement frameworks, specifically deploying SMED, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and root-cause analysis to eliminate waste and reduce setup times.
• Map workflows, design standard operating procedures (SOPs), and bridge the gap between engineering theory and shop-floor execution.
• Utilise process statistics and analytical methodology to identify manufacturing bottlenecks and execute documented cost-saving projects.

Qualifications:

• Ideally holds a University Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, or similar).
• Proven track record working within the flexible packaging, flexography, extrusion, or lamination sectors.
• Demonstrated, practical experience leading continuous improvement or Lean Six Sigma projects with strong analytical capabilities.
• Already based in or fully committed to relocating to the Molina de Segura / Murcia region.
