Precision for Medicine is hiring a Senior / Principal Clinical Database Manager to join our team. Candidates can work remotely in the following locations: UK, Spain, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, or Slovakia.

Position Summary

The Senior / Principal Clinical Database Manager is responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting clinical databases and applications. The role involves interfacing directly with internal teams (e.g., Data Management, Project Management), EDC vendors, clients, and third-party vendors to gather requirements and provide status updates. The manager will also provide operational and technical training to end users and junior staff. Additionally, the role may include leading internal software projects requiring specialized programming and scripting.

Qualifications

Minimum Required:

• Experience in developing and customizing clinical data management databases within a clinical, scientific, or healthcare discipline
• Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience
• Medidata Rave EDC Certified Study Builder
• Rave Advanced Custom Function programming experience

Other Required:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Ability to handle various clinical research tasks
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and oral
• Understanding of CDISC standards (CDASH, SDTM, ADaM)
• Experience in clinical database management system development
• Experience in clinical, scientific, or healthcare disciplines
• Experience with various clinical database management systems
• Broad knowledge of drug, device, and/or biologic development and data management practices
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

• Oncology and/or Orphan Drug therapeutic experience
• Knowledge of Base SAS, SAS/STAT, and SAS/ACCESS software
• Advanced experience in database management and object-oriented programming
• Veeva setup experience
