PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The digital and cloud services industry is at the forefront of technological transformation, and CrossMedia is committed to driving this evolution. We are seeking a Senior Presales Engineer to join our dynamic team. Based in Spain, preferably in Madrid or surrounding areas, this role focuses on providing expert technical consultancy, designing innovative cloud solutions, and ensuring successful customer engagement throughout the sales process. You will play a critical role in bridging technical capabilities and customer needs, presenting tailored solutions, leading demonstrations, and preparing compelling proposals. Your contributions will ensure optimal solutions that align with client objectives, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

  • Provide technical support to the sales team as a cloud and digital solutions expert during presentations, meetings, and proposals.
  • Specialize in advanced cloud technologies, digital transformation frameworks, and system integrations through training, certifications, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand complex requirements and design tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality documentation, including proposals, tenders, RFIs, and RFPs.
  • Lead customer presentations, live demos, and proofs of concept (PoC) for digital solutions and cloud platforms.
  • Represent CrossMedia at industry events, trade shows, and partner conferences, showcasing our expertise in digital and cloud services.
  • Act as a liaison between manufacturers, cloud providers, and clients, ensuring a seamless flow of technical information.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends in cloud technologies, automation, and digital workflows to provide innovative solutions.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, or a related engineering field.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerized technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation tools.
  • Experience with content delivery networks (CDN) and media streaming protocols is highly valued.
  • Expertise in streaming technologies and OTT platforms (both backend and frontend).
  • Experience in analytics tools applied to the OTT environment (QoE, Social Media Analytics, Data Lakes, and BI tools).
  • Proficiency in software-defined infrastructure and virtualization technologies.
  • Solid understanding of network and security principles in cloud environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2-C1 level or higher).
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a presales or technical consultancy role.
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar are highly desirable.
