Aurora Energy Research is seeking an Origination colleague in Madrid to support renewable and BESS developers, investors and asset owners in route-to-market strategies and PPA negotiations.

You will work with the Head of Origination to convert client opportunities, perform rigorous commercial analyses, and help grow Aurora's European origination offering across storage and renewables.

Formación

• At least 4 years' experience in the electricity sector with renewables or storage.
• Strong understanding of European power markets and the commercial drivers.
• Experience assessing offtake structures and investment cases.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with clear recommendations.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Support evaluating route-to-market and offtake strategies for standalone and hybrid assets.
• Identify, develop, and convert client opportunities with the Head of Origination.
• Support PPA, FPA, tolling, floor and hybrid-contract processes from tender to close.
• Assess market revenues, risk allocation, and bankability implications.
• Lead workstreams and project teams delivering robust commercial analysis.
• Prepare client-facing materials, proposal content, and transaction-support deliverables.
• Contribute to development of Aurora's origination toolkit and playbooks.
• Collaborate with advisory, research and software teams to bring market intelligence into mandates.
