JR Spain is looking for a Power BI Platform Engineer to join their Data Management Services team. This role involves operating a secure Power BI Gateway infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and on-prem environments. Ideal candidates should have strong skills in Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps, alongside experience in Agile environments. A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with 3+ years in IT infrastructure, excellent problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of CI/CD processes.

We are hiring a Power BI Platform Engineer for our client, a global consultancy supporting one of the top-tier companies in Europe. You will join the Data Management Services team within the Data & AI Services department, helping build and operate a secure, reliable, and scalable Power BI Gateway infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and on-prem environments.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and evolve the Power BI Gateway platform across multi-cloud and on-premise setups.
• Provide support to data engineers and other technical users to unlock the full potential of Power BI for data products and dashboards.
• Drive platform reliability through change/configuration/lifecycle management and resolve complex incidents.
• Ensure platform compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Design and implement automation via CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) and scripting to improve efficiency.
• Set up and manage Power BI Gateway data connections and integrations across platforms.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's or master’s degree (or equivalent thinking level).
• At least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure or change/project work.
• Solid experience with Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, and infrastructure tools.
• Understanding of Data Management and Data Engineering concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills, good communication, and a collaborative mindset.
• Working experience in Agile (Scrum) environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Bash, PowerShell, Azure CLI, REST APIs, or Terraform.
• Familiarity with Power BI internals, report governance, or enterprise BI tools.
• Exposure to AWS cloud services and hybrid architecture models.
• Security and compliance knowledge within enterprise platforms.
