Arup in Madrid is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead plumbing and/or fire protection system design across diverse building types. You will work with architects, structural engineers, and other specialists to deliver integrated, sustainable building solutions within Arup's international network.

The role emphasizes collaboration with colleagues and clients from different countries, strong leadership, and the ability to guide junior team members while contributing to socially useful engineering

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in plumbing and/or fire protection design.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Basic knowledge of Revit.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design of plumbing and/or fire systems for a range of building types (offices, hotels, hospitals, data centres, educational facilities).
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers and other specialists to deliver integrated and sustainable building solutions.
• Oversee the specification and selection of plumbing or fire equipment, ensuring compliance with performance and sustainability criteria.
• Act as team or project coordinator for multidisciplinary teams, serving as Arup's representative with clients.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration.
