Arup Madrid is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the design of plumbing and fire protection systems across diverse building projects. The role involves coordination with architects, structural engineers and specialists to deliver integrated, sustainable solutions.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams across Spain and international projects, mentoring junior colleagues and ensuring high-quality design while embracing a global mindset and English fluency.

Formación

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Industrial Engineering or Industrial Technologies).
• 8 years of relevant experience, demonstrating expertise in plumbing, and/or fire protection system design.
• Technical expertise in building design and construction projects.
• Basic knowledge of Revit.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural and international environments.
• Strong written and spoken English (C1 level).

• Oversee the specification and selection of plumbing or fire equipment, ensuring compliance with performance and sustainability criteria.
• Act as team or project coordinator for multidisciplinary teams, serving as Arup's representative with clients.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
