As a Data Engineer, your responsibilities will include :
- Building and optimizing data pipelines using Python and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL / ELT), ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Implementing and managing data solutions in AWS, leveraging services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, and others for storage, processing, and analysis.
- Applying knowledge of authentication, encryption, anonymization, and masking to protect sensitive data and comply with security regulations.
- Designing and implementing REST, OData, and GraphQL APIs to expose data to users or applications, facilitating access and usability.
- Configuring and managing tools like Denodo to expose data virtually, optimizing access to large volumes of information for users.
Work Schedule :
- Full-time position (40 hours per week).
- Option for remote work 2 days per week and 3 days on-site at the client's offices.
Requirements :
We require a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, but above all, motivation and enthusiasm for high-quality work.
Required :
- Experience in data projects using Python and SQL.
- Experience with APIs for data publishing : REST, OData, GraphQL.
- Experience in AWS Cloud Computing (S3, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch, Glue, Redshift, etc.).
- Knowledge of Denodo.
- Knowledge of security and privacy : authentication, encryption, anonymization, and masking.
Nice to have :
- Understanding of security best practices and regulatory compliance for handling sensitive data.
- Version control : Git and GitHub.
- Data consolidation and storage using tools like Snowflake.
- Data transformation and modeling with dbt.
- Apache Kafka and Apache Beam.
- CI / CD : Jenkins and Docker.
