Jobgether is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer based in Spain to own and scale a cloud infrastructure behind a developer-focused platform. You will drive Kubernetes, cloud provisioning, and data services while turning BYOC into scalable products.

You will partner with a small autonomous team, balancing reliability, security, and rapid delivery in a remote-first startup environment. This role targets Europe-based candidates, especially in the Netherlands region.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in platform engineering, infra, DevOps, or SRE.
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes in production.
• Experience with BYOC, single-tenant, on-premises, or air-gapped environments.
• Strong AWS expertise; GCP/Azure familiarity is a plus.
• Advanced Terraform experience with reusable modules and multi-account architectures.
• Strong PostgreSQL expertise, with performance tuning and replication.
• Security/compliance exposure (SOC 2, ISO audits, pen tests).
• Infra security, observability, incident response, deployment automation.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and Node.js from a platform view.
• Product-minded with developer empathy; translate customer needs to platform improvements.
• Excellent communication; proactive, autonomous in a remote-first startup.
• Based in Europe; listed for candidates in the Netherlands.

Responsabilidades

• Own and scale the cloud infrastructure supporting the platform, including compute, networking, and core data-layer services.
• Lead BYOC capabilities provisioning, upgrades, observability, and scalable deployments.
• Operationalize and productize Infrastructure as Code and GitOps foundations for rapid shipping.
• Define meaningful SLOs and build incident management processes for reliability.
• Own and scale data infrastructure like PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, ClickHouse.
• Drive security and compliance initiatives (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, pen tests).
• Make architectural decisions balancing scalability, security, performance, velocity.
• Collaborate with engineering and customer teams to turn needs into platform improvements.
• Contribute to technical roadmaps and broader company strategy.
• Support incidents and unblock complex technical issues promptly.
