MediaMarktSaturn Technology, Barcelona, seeks a platform engineer to scale its marketplace infrastructure. You’ll own cloud-native deployments, operate Kubernetes in the cloud, and advance CI/CD pipelines while emphasizing reliability, security, and observability.

You’ll collaborate across teams to reduce friction, enable self-service, and apply modern backend patterns (NestJS, REST/GraphQL, MongoDB, Redis). Hybrid work with two offices in Barcelona is available.

Formación

• Independent work style with ownership and clear communication.
• Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of GCP IAM, networking and clusters.
• Experience with CI/CD systems and GitOps workflows.
• Monitoring, alerting and debuggability emphasis.
• Capability to contribute to development with TypeScript/Node.js.
• Understanding modern backend architectures (NestJS, REST/GraphQL, Pub/Sub, MongoDB, Redis).

Responsabilidades

• Build and operate Google Cloud / GKE platform with reliability and security.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Flux.
• Make deployments predictable, reproducible, and safe.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and automation.
• Ensure strong observability with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Treat platform as a product; enable self-service and set standards.
• Debug production issues and pursue long-term fixes.
• Build small tools or automation in TypeScript/Node.js when appropriate.
