TD SYNNEX Spain is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to build, operate, and continuously improve our multi-cloud infrastructure platform used by development teams daily. You will write Terraform, Ansible, and Python, and automate components to turn patterns into production-grade code.

You will work under Architecture and Engineering leadership, implementing platform directives and ensuring reliable, scalable delivery for internal customers and developers.

Formación

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure (required).
• Experience with AWS and GCP considered a plus.
• Linux administration across RHEL, Debian, Ubuntu.
• Automation using Terraform, Ansible; Python scripting.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and GitOps practices.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint delivery.

Role Overview

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will build, operate, and continuously improve the multi-cloud infrastructure platform that our development teams rely on every day. This is a hands-on engineering role - you will spend most of your time writing Terraform, Ansible, and Python, Automation and more... not just producing architecture diagrams or reference designs.

You will work within an established platform direction set by our Architecture and Engineering Leadership, and your focus will be on implementing, automating, and operating the platform components that bring that direction to life.

We are looking for a builder and innovator mindset who enjoys turning patterns and standards into production-ready, well-automated infrastructure that our developers and customers love to consume.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain: Implement multi-cloud infrastructure (primarily Azure, with AWS where applicable) following established platform patterns and standards.
• Infrastructure as Code: Write, maintain, and refactor Terraform modules. Apply DRY principles across landscapes and contribute to our shared module library.
• Configuration automation: Develop Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections for OS-level configuration and zero-downtime deployments.
• Operate AI-ready services: Provision and operate the cognitive service environments (Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock) that our application teams consume.
• CI/CD delivery: Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for infrastructure platform provisioning and configuration management.
• Day-2 operations: Troubleshoot, patch, harden, and monitor platform components. You own the health of what you build.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Architects, Developers, and Operations to turn requirements and patterns into working code.

What This Role Is Not

• This is not a Cloud Architect, Solution Architect, or Enterprise Architect role.
• You will not set the overall cloud strategy or produce high-level reference architectures.
• You will not lead multi-team design forums or own architectural governance.

Technical Requirements

• Technology Platform.
• Azure: strong hands-on experience (required).
• AWS: working hands-on experience (good to have).
• GCP: working hands-on experience ( is a plus).
• Linux administration: solid experience with RHEL, Debian, and Ubuntu (a plus)
• Windows hosts: comfortable managing them through automation.
• AI services (consumer side): comfortable provisioning, scaling, and supporting consumption of cognitive services such as Azure AI Foundry or AWS Bedrock. You operate these services for application teams - you are not expected to design AI/ML systems.
• Infrastructure as Code & Automation
• Terraform: strong working knowledge of data structures, functions, workspaces, and module design. You write modules, not just consume them.
• Ansible: confident with playbooks, roles, and dynamic inventories. Exposure to Ansible Automation Platform (AWX / Tower) or RedHat Satellite is a plus.
• Scripting: fluency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for day-to-day automation tasks.
• Work Delivery
• Azure DevOps: Pipelines, Boards, and Repos.
• GitOps: solid branching strategies, code reviews, and lifecycle management.
• Agile: comfortable working in sprints and breaking platform work into small, deliverable units.

• Clear communicator: you can explain what you built - and the trade-offs - to both engineers and non-engineers.

• Collaborative: you work well alongside Architects and Product Owners, and you ask questions before assuming.
