Formación

• Solid experience in Data Platform Administration or Data Engineering within Azure.
• Proficiency with core Azure services and hands-on experience with Snowflake, Kafka, Fivetran, and Airflow.
• Strong SQL skills and operational experience.

The Role

This administrator will be a subject matter expert responsible for the operational health, performance, and governance of the core components of our modern data stack, built on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on the administration, optimization, and security of our:

• Fivetran
• Kafka
• Streaming platform
• Airflow orchestration environment
• Snowflake data warehouse

ensuring a reliable and efficient environment for all data operations.

Requirements

• Administer the Snowflake data warehouse (on Azure), including user/role management, resource monitoring, cost optimization, and security controls.
• Manage and operate Kafka / Confluent Cloud platform, including topic management, cluster health monitoring, and ensuring reliable real-time data streams.
• Administer the Fivetran platform, managing connectors, pipelines, and integration reliability.
• Manage and operate the Airflow environment, including DAG deployment, connection management, and workflow monitoring.
• Govern Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2), managing access controls, storage policies, and ensuring its role as a reliable raw data landing zone.
• Serve as the technical contact for platform issues, liaising with security, network, and infrastructure teams within Azure ecosystem.

Ideal Candidate Profile Experience

• Solid experience in Data Platform Administration, Data Operations, or Data Engineering within Azure.
• Proficiency with core Azure services like Data Lake, Active Directory, Networking (VNet, NSGs, Private Endpoints).
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Kafka, Fivetran, and Airflow management and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of enterprise integration patterns, especially on Azure.
• Strong SQL skills, scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash), and operational experience with Airflow.
• Experience in Insurance or Financial Services sectors is a plus.
