Job summary

Wood is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to join the Project Control team in Madrid, Las Rozas, with a hybrid work setup. You will provide a complete planning service for large, complex projects across oil & gas, refining, and petrochemicals, working with global teams.

The role requires Primavera P6 expertise, strong English, and Spanish language skills, plus experience with FEED/EPC projects and revamps. Wood offers global opportunities and a diverse, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Chartered Engineer with relevant experience.
• Proven track record in refinery, oil & gas, petrochemical facilities.
• FEED and EPC experience including revamps.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed engineering schedules with lead engineers.
• Create engineering progress measurement systems and reports.
• Coordinate schedule interfaces between licensors and subcontractors.
• Forecast project schedule milestones.
• Lead regular schedule review meetings.
• Produce weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Mentor locally hired Planning team members.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Microsoft's tools.
