Job summary

Wood is seeking an Intern for Planning in the Project Control department in Madrid. The role offers hands-on exposure to upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas projects and involvement in conceptual engineering studies, pre-FEED, FEED, EPC and PMC phases.

Selected candidates will work under senior engineers to develop detailed schedules and progress reports, gaining practical experience in project controls within a global energy services company.

Qualifications

• Last academic year or master's degree in Industrial or Organization Engineering or similar Degree
• Academic situation that allows signing an agreement with a spanish university or training center
• Availability in the morning (daily dedication may vary depending on the academic situation)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Willing to explore AI full potential applied to daily task and processes automation.
• Power BI would be a plus.
• Spanish language at native level
• Excellent knowledge of English language
• Interested in pursuing a career in Engineering within the Oil and Gas Industry
• Valid European Work Permit

Responsibilities

• Development of detailed engineering schedules in conjunction with lead discipline engineers
• Development of engineering progress
• Production of weekly and monthly progress reports to the project management team
