About the opportunity we offer:

In our Madrid office, we are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to perform the following tasks:

• Advise the Project and/or Proposal Management.
• Develop schedules according to the selected execution strategy.
• Define and optimize necessary resources.
• Set realistic and feasible contract durations for execution for management, proposal managers, and estimating departments.
• Implement planning and scheduling systems (methods, procedures, schedules, physical progress, scorecards, etc.).
• Create precise project breakdown structures.
• Plan to secure work fronts on site, mitigate risks, and reduce costs.
• Obtain client approval of progress or milestone achievements to enable invoicing.
• Monitor project status, detect delays, and propose corrective actions.
• Manage operational planning team (2-4 people).
• Estimate delays related to changes and claims; prepare Time Extension analysis in case of delays due to customer.
• Provide feedback and lessons learned to improve planning and scheduling methods and contribute to planning department statistics.

About you:

We love to hear from you and how you match with this position. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• You hold an Engineering degree.
• You have over 6 years of experience in Planning within the Oil & Gas sector.
• You have at least B2 level in English and Spanish; proficiency in French is a plus.
• You have knowledge and experience with Primavera P6, Excel, and PowerBI.
