Elusav Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Senior Planner for a major Data Centre construction project in Zaragoza, Spain. The role focuses on developing and maintaining resource-loaded schedules for pre-construction, construction and commissioning using Primavera P6.

You will lead schedule development, progress reporting and EV management, liaising with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring schedule accuracy and timely updates across the project lifecycle.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years' experience in planning on large-scale construction projects.
• Proficient using Primavera P6, Earned Value Management, Excel.
• Clear understanding of construction methodologies and sequence.
• Able to produce programme to plan and monitor the works from necessary information.

Responsabilidades

• Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction, construction and commissioning.
• Developing and maintaining progress databases.
• Progress reporting and milestone projections.
• Auditing progress on site and attending schedule meetings with client/subcontractors.
• Resource and cash loading of schedules and data for payment applications.

Elusav are recruiting a Senior Planner for one of Europe's largest Contractors for a Data Centre Construction Project in Zaragoza, Spain. This is one of the biggest Data Center projects in Spain & Europe, excellent opportunity to be involved in a highly prestigious project

The Senior planner will be responsible for Developing and maintaining resource loaded schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning utilizing Primavera P6 Software. Excellent opportunity to join an industry leader with great progression potential and development pathways on offer.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for a project or portfolio of projects (regional / sectoral).
• Responsible for all aspects of planning, as defined by the Planning SOP.
• Reporting to Planning Department.
• Reporting to Business Unit / Project Management.
• Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning.
• Developing and maintaining progress databases.
• Progress reporting.
• Milestone projections, delay / float path analysis.
• Earned Value Management systems.
• Monitoring schedule performance and productivity.
• Auditing progress on site.
• Attending schedule meetings, liaising with client and subcontractors.
• Preparation of tender schedules.
• Preparation of histograms.
• Supporting weekly workface planning systems.
• Resource / cash loading of schedules.
• Providing data for payment applications.
• Completing contract review reports.
• Responsibility for quality and accuracy of schedules and reports.
• Making relevant parties aware of issues and advising on solutions.
• Recording delay and disruption.
• Assisting in the preparation of claims and providing data for contractual disputes.
• Travelling to projects in order to carry out the above, if required.
• Managing, training, coaching, supporting, developing, leading staff, if required.
• Covering Planning Manager responsibilities when required.
• Covering Project Planner responsibilities when required.
• All other duties associated with role.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience working in planning on large-scale construction projects.
• Be proficient using Primavera P6, Earned Value Management, Excel.
• Clear understanding of construction methodologies and sequence.
• Able to produce programme to plan and monitor the works from necessary information (drawings/model/SOW etc.).
• Capable of managing the planning of large-scale projects with minimum supervision.
• Be highly motivated, a self-starter & able to work well in a team on or your own.
