MultiSafepay, a leading payments provider in Europe, is seeking a Backend Developer to join our Tech team in Estepona. You will design and develop features in a microservice architecture, working on PayPal, Klarna, card processing and bank transfers.

You’ll focus on code quality, maintain legacy systems, ensure security and performance, and collaborate across teams. Requirements include 2+ years in software development, Perl or Java, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and fluency in English.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Perl or Java.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
• Clean architecture mindset focused on maintainable, scalable systems.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design and Test-Driven Development.
• Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

• Designing and developing new software features within a microservice architecture.
• Maintaining and resolving production issues to ensure system stability and uptime.
• Refactoring legacy code to improve performance, maintainability, and long-term stability.
• Contributing to payment method integrations including PayPal and Klarna, as well as credit card processing and bank transfers.
• Implementing secure data handling practices and robust encryption standards when working with sensitive financial data.
