The role:

Due to the growth of our business, we are seeking a Senior PHP Backend Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing our core business payment backend applications in collaboration with your agile team.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, test, and implement solutions using agile methodologies.
2. Collaborate with design teams to build reusable code and modules.
3. Identify gaps in backend services to achieve desired functionality.
4. Analyze business requirements and assess technical feasibility.
5. Design and perform unit and integration testing.
6. Debug and fix defects in continuous integration builds.
7. Coordinate code reviews and ensure quality standards.
8. Support customer issues and troubleshoot problems.
9. Maintain and improve the quality and test suites.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• At least 5 years of PHP backend development experience.
• Experience in the payment industry.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and backend technologies.
• Proficiency with development tools like git, Gitlab, Docker, CI/CD.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of Java/Spring Boot is a plus.
