The role:

Due to our growth, we are seeking a Senior PHP Backend Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing our core payment backend applications in collaboration with your agile team.

You will work in a motivating, highly technical environment with challenging service interactions and payment protocol implementations.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, test, and implement solutions with product managers using agile methodologies.
2. Collaborate with design teams to build reusable code and modules.
3. Identify gaps in backend services to achieve desired functionality.
4. Analyze business requirements for technical feasibility.
5. Design and perform unit and integration testing.
6. Debug and fix defects during continuous integration.
7. Coordinate code reviews with peers to ensure standards and quality.
8. Provide support for customer issues and problem-solving.
9. Maintain and improve the quality and test suite.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• At least 5 years of PHP backend development experience.
• Experience in the payment industry.
• Strong knowledge of REST backend technologies.
• Proficiency with development tools: Git, GitLab, Redmine, Docker, CI/CD.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of Java/Spring Boot is a plus.
• English proficiency at a good technical level.
