The Role

We are seeking a Senior PHP Backend Developer to join our team due to business growth. You will develop core payment backend applications, collaborating within an agile environment, and engaging with complex services and payment protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement solutions using agile methodologies.
• Collaborate with design teams to build reusable code and modules.
• Identify gaps in backend services to achieve desired functionality.
• Analyze business requirements for technical feasibility.
• Perform unit and integration testing.
• Debug and fix defects in CI/CD environments.
• Coordinate code reviews and ensure quality standards.
• Support customer issues and problem-solving efforts.
• Maintain and improve test suites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering or similar; Master’s preferred
• 5+ years PHP backend experience
• Experience in the payment industry
• Strong knowledge of REST backend technologies
• Proficiency with git, Gitlab, Redmine, Docker, CI/CD
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of Java/Spring Boot is a plus
• English proficiency (good technical level)
