Descripción del empleo

The position involves coordinating and maintaining connections with relevant stakeholders, organizing events, identifying new project opportunities, and strategically supporting ICFO's role in the Photonic Chips Spain Competence Center.

• Manage relationships with key partners, fostering collaboration and synergy.
• Plan and execute high-quality events for stakeholders across the photonics and semiconductor ecosystems.
• Identify, develop, and secure new project opportunities through public funding programs and private partnerships.
• Liaise with partners, stakeholders, and institutions to support ICFO's strategic goals.

Qualifications and Experience

A degree in physics or a related field is required, with a PhD being an asset. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project management, particularly in EU-funded research or innovation projects. A strong track record in event planning and execution within a scientific or technological environment is also essential.

• Background in photonics or deep-tech industries is highly desirable.
• Leadership and proactivity in managing activities similar to those in the Ecosystem and Stakeholder Engagement Work Package are required.
• Experience with training activities and industry collaboration is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish are necessary.
• A self-motivated and collaborative mindset, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, is crucial.

This position contributes to the European Chips JU project Photonic Chips Spain Competence Center, supporting the broader PIXEurope effort directed by Prof. Dr. Valerio Pruneri.
