China Three Gorges (Europe) S.A seeks a Senior Performance Engineer to join its Coslada, Spain team. You will manage data sources, generate reports on plant operations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze assets and improve performance.

The role requires 8+ years in the energy sector with strong data analytics skills, Fluency in Spanish and English, and expertise in KPI development, RCA, and automated data triggers to detect premature malfunctions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, BI, Mathematics or Data Analytics.
• 8+ years of experience in the energy industry, and in a similar role.
• Advanced to intermediate English language proficiency (B2-C1), Native Spanish language proficiency (C1-C2), both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Manage data sources to effectively report power plants operation (internal reports and official reports to CTGI).
• Collaborate with advanced techniques to analyze our assets operation.
• Propose and improve existing KPIs to increase power plants generation.
• Support the engineering team to conduct data-driven Root Cause Analysis.
• Collaborate with other departments for reporting purposes.
• Support the proper implantation of automatic data triggers to identify premature malfunction of our generation systems.

• Manage data sources to effectively report power plants operation (internal reports and official reports to CTGI)
• Collaborate with advanced techniques to analyze our assets operation.
• Propose and improve existing KPIs to increase power plants generation.

• Collaborate with other departments for reporting purposes

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Mathematics or Data Analytics
• At least 8 years of experience in the energy industry, and in a similar role.
• Advanced to Intermediate English language proficiency (B2-C1), Native Spanish language proficiency (C1-C2), both written and verbal.

It would be very valuable if you had:

• Knowledge and experience in Programming in Python, R; Databases modelling using SQL; and, Power BI Dashboards Management.
• Experience in Data Analysis for Renewable Energy.
• Critical thinking and attention to detail; Problem-solving; and, Adaptability.
