A leading company is seeking a Grid Connection Engineer to manage solar project connections in Barcelona. This role involves ensuring compliance with EU regulations, collaborating on strategies, conducting feasibility studies, and mentoring junior engineers. Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of experience and a degree in Electrical Engineering, along with strong knowledge of grid regulations.

Formación

Strong knowledge of interconnection procedures.

Thoroughly analysing and interrogating grid connection offers to ensure technical and commercial accuracy, challenging network companies on any discrepancies.Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technology advancements related to grid connections.

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
8+ years of experience in grid connection engineering, focusing on renewable energy projects in EU.
Strong knowledge of EU grid regulations (REE, CNMC) and interconnection procedures.
Proven experience managing grid connection projects, including feasibility studies and technical evaluations.
Proficiency in relevant engineering tools (AutoCAD, PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory).
Fluent in Spanish and English.
