EPAM Systems in Madrid, Spain, is seeking a Senior Oracle DB Specialist to join a hybrid team. You will leverage Oracle PL/SQL and database architecture to support integration of complex financial systems and ensure stability of mission-critical platforms.

You will collaborate with business, engineering, and DevOps to deliver solutions for securities trading, order management, and secondary market operations, while guiding technical excellence and data integrity across projects.

Formación

• Extensive experience in Oracle PL/SQL development and performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of securities trading processes across asset classes.
• Experience with Linux environments and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with integration contexts using Java or .NET.
• Knowledge of financial messaging (FIX, ISO20022) and data protocols.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, XML/JSON, and security (OAuth 2.0, TLS).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Octopus) and distributed systems.
• Observability with Grafana/Prometheus.
• English fluency.

Responsabilidades

• Lead database integration of order management with core banking platform.
• Support secondary market trading integrations with technical expertise.
• Provide guidance across development and DevOps during implementations.
• Translate business requirements into efficient database solutions.
• Optimize performance and maintain data integrity via Oracle PL/SQL.
• Coordinate with vendors for system integration.
• Contribute to architectural discussions for the Order Management division.
• Maintain and proactively enhance existing systems.
