About the Security Department

Our Security Department is responsible for implementing and maintaining organization-wide information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures. The team collaborates with other business units to document requirements and solve security challenges through various platforms within our enterprise architecture. Our ultimate goal is to keep Ivanti, our data, our customers, and our employees safe.

Role: Offensive Security Engineer

As an Offensive Security Engineer at Ivanti, you will identify security vulnerabilities and weaknesses in our products and services. Your responsibilities include performing penetration tests, identifying vulnerabilities, supporting engineers to resolve issues, and implementing secure software principles and practices.

Qualifications for Success

• Passion for offensive security
• 5+ years of experience as a penetration tester
• Knowledge of tools like Burp Suite, Kali Linux, OWASP Zap Proxy, DnSpy, IDA Pro, etc.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and understanding of programming languages like .NET, C, Java
• Understanding of technologies like Active Directory, O365, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Windows, Linux, networking, and their vulnerabilities
• Knowledge of mobile platforms such as Android and iPhone
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively to IT and business stakeholders
• Strong English communication skills
• Relevant certifications like OSCP, OSCE are a plus
• Background in software engineering is a plus

Daily Responsibilities

• Conduct penetration tests on mobile, web, and client/server applications
• Perform source code reviews and prepare reports
• Review security reports from external researchers and bug bounty programs
• Advise on secure application development and architecture
