Job summary

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking a Senior Consultant on the Offensive Security team. You will assess and challenge clients' security postures using advanced tools and methodologies, acting as an advocate for best practices and providing actionable recommendations to strengthen defenses against sophisticated threats.

The role requires hands-on testing across networks, web apps, and cloud environments, with opportunities to travel. Strong scripting skills and relevant certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information security, CS, or related field.
• 3+ years in information security with focus on penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Experience with security assessment tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nessus, etc.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python, PowerShell, Ruby, C++).
• Experience across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive penetration tests (network, web, cloud, mobile).
• Deliver assessments using Frontier AI Defense test harnesses and platforms.
• Develop scripts/tools to automate offensive security engagements.
• Communicate testing approaches clearly to technical and executive audiences.
• Generate detailed reports with risks and remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to align on security objectives.
• Assist in scoping opportunities and building internal offensive security infrastructure.
• Travel as needed to meet business demands.
