Mimacom in Spain is seeking a Senior Observability Engineer to join a flagship client engagement. You will design, implement, and evolve observability across large-scale distributed systems. You will work with Elastic, Grafana and Kubernetes/OpenShift, building dashboards, alerts and tracing. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential.

• Proven observability and SRE experience across distributed systems.
• Hands-on with Elastic, Grafana and Kubernetes/OpenShift.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and evolve observability solutions across large-scale distributed environments.
• Manage telemetry generated by thousands of applications, services, infrastructure components, and business platforms.
• Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, metrics, logs, and tracing solutions using modern observability tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with development, platform, and operations teams to embed observability practices throughout the software lifecycle.
• Support large-scale monitoring initiatives across microservices, cloud-native platforms, databases, retail systems, and IoT environments.
• Contribute to innovative projects involving Artificial Intelligence, automation, and conversational assistants applied to observability and operations.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, helping stakeholders understand observability concepts and best practices through clear communication and knowledge sharing.

We are looking for a Senior Observability Engineer to join one of our flagship client engagements in Spain. You will become part of a highly experienced team that has been collaborating successfully with one of the country's largest retail and distribution organizations for many years, leading observability and monitoring initiatives across a large-scale and diverse technology ecosystem.

As a Senior Observability Engineer, you will help drive observability as a strategic capability across the organization, ensuring visibility, reliability, and performance across business-critical applications, platforms, and infrastructure. You will work in complex distributed environments spanning logistics systems, business applications, cloud-native platforms, databases, IoT solutions, and retail operations.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and evolve observability and monitoring solutions across large-scale distributed environments.
• Manage and analyze telemetry generated by thousands of applications, services, infrastructure components, and business platforms.

What You'll Need

• Proven experience in observability, monitoring, platform operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as Elastic, Grafana, and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and modern distributed systems.
• Experience working with complex enterprise environments and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for learning new technologies and approaches.
• Experience with technologies such as Kafka, API Management platforms, relational and non-relational databases is considered a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
