Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Madrid is seeking a Structural Analyst Engineer to join the Component Structural Analysis group. You will perform evaluations, hand and FEA calculations, and document analyses in English.

Located at the Madrid headquarters in San Sebastián de los Reyes with a hybrid work model, this full-time role offers opportunities to support seismic qualifications, plant modifications, and international project teams, with travel to sites as needed.

Formación

• Master's degree in Mechanical engineering is required.
• 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of nuclear industry and mechanical component stress analysis, fatigue and fracture mechanics assessments, FEA software.

Responsabilidades

• Perform engineering evaluations and analyses within structural mechanics.
• Perform hand calculations and finite element analyses in ANSYS to verify component qualification.
• Document analyses in English.
• Propose integrated solutions to technical challenges during projects.
• Participate in international project teams and communicate with relevant parties.
• Potential travel to provide engineering support at nuclear power plants.
• Based on experience, progress toward technical expertise, project management or leadership.
