iPronics is seeking a Senior NPI Supply Chain Program Manager to lead the introduction of silicon photonics based modules. You will manage supply chain readiness, BOM resiliency, and collaboration with internal teams, CMOs, and OSAT partners to meet schedule, cost, and ramp requirements.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in NPI or supply chain in semiconductor/photonics, strong cross-functional skills, and experience with BOM management and ERP systems.

About the Role:

As a fabless company iPronics is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior NPI Supply Chain Program Manager for silicon photonics based optical subassembly and optical module programs. In addition to traditional role requirements, you will thrive in a dynamic environment with suppliers and supply chain partners, balance process and risk, handle strategic cost and actively engage the supply chain and all supply chain partners.

This function will report to the Director of Operations and requires a strong background in advanced semiconductor/photonic packaging and hardware systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the introduction of novel complex photonic products. into our supply chain. Successfully navigating the complex semiconductor and hardware supply chain is vital to iPronics as a fabless company so you will make a difference !

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for supply chain readiness, risk management, total cost management, and BOM resiliency for internally developed SiPh based module programs from pre-concept to production.
• Engage and handle the supply flow during development and customer shipment for critical components.
• Work collaboratively and coordinate NPI with our internal development teams, Contract Manufacturers, wafer fabs, and OSATs to deliver products that meet schedule, cost, and ramp requirements.
• Project planning, materials sourcing and planning, parts procurement, shipping logistics, inventory control, and projections.
• New Product Material readiness, DFMEA, PFMEA, risk identification, shipping logistics and mitigation, and supplier quality.
• Facilitate and monitor OSAT forecasts, product WIP movement, and raw material inventories
• Work with the supply chain account team to monitor OSAT available capacities against customer demands and secure capacities for upside demand when needed
• Travel to and work with OSAT on-site to coordinate process development, NPI, production ramps, resolve delivery and quality issues, assist with Quality Audits, review quarterly performance, and other issues as needed.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure BOM accuracy and address any discrepancies for all stages of the product lifecycle
• Manage the BOM release process with suppliers and contract manufacturers and manage BOM inventory through the ERP system
• Take the lead and collaborate closely with engineering to ensure all collaterals such as work instructions, process flows and control plans are available with appropriate revision control

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• 8+ years proven experience in NPI and/or Engineering Management and/or supply chain management in semiconductor and/or photonics manufacturing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor/photonics and hardware systems process and manufacturing flows.
• Applies knowledge of own function and business expertise to solve critical issues with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Experience with industry standards and best practices for BOM management.
• Experience in a start-up environment including introducing and evangelizing BOM management and ERP systems
• Experienced in driving cost reductions, cost avoidance, and value engineering.
