Prophero, an international technology scale-up focused on AI, data, and automation, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to own backend architecture and drive cross-functional initiatives. You will shape end-to-end features, mentor engineers, and contribute to AI-enabled workflows within a high-growth product environment.

You will operate in a hybrid setting, collaborating across teams to deliver scalable, resilient systems on AWS, while maintaining a strong product sense and ownership mindset.

Formación

• Engineering leadership with mentoring responsibilities.
• A strong backend engineer with Node.js and event-driven architecture experience.
• AWS expertise in scalable, distributed architectures and serverless patterns.
• Ownership mindset: turn ambiguity into shipped product.
• Experience using AI to improve engineering workflows.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Own features end-to-end from design to production.
• Design and defend backend architecture for scalable systems.
• Contribute to Frontend in React/Next.js when needed.
• Build AI-augmented development practices and internal tools.
• Mentor peers and raise engineering standards.
• Move fast with a bias for action.
