Senior Network Engineer – Cisco & Routing Expert

Location: Spain (Remote)

Contract Type: Permanent

What You’ll Do

1. Design, implement, and maintain high-performance, highly available network infrastructures.
2. Manage and optimize environments based on Cisco Nexus (NX-OS, ACI) and Cisco Fabric Interconnect.
3. Administer enterprise wireless networks using Cisco WiFi.
4. Configure and maintain advanced routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
5. Monitor and optimize Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching protocols.
6. Collaborate with security, systems, and cloud teams to ensure network integrity and efficiency.
7. Document procedures, configurations, and network topologies.

What We’re Looking For

1. 5+ years of experience in network engineering roles.
2. Strong expertise in Cisco Nexus (NX-OS, ACI) and Cisco Fabric Interconnect.
3. Solid hands-on experience with Cisco WiFi.
4. Advanced knowledge of routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
5. Deep understanding of switching protocols (STP, VLANs, VTP, EtherChannel, etc.).
6. Ability to work in critical, high-availability environments.
7. High level of English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

1. Cisco CCNP Data Center certification.
2. Experience with Citrix Netscaler load balancers.
3. Familiarity with network automation tools (Python, Ansible, etc.).
4. Experience in international or multilingual environments.
