Formación

• Higher education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in similar roles.
• Hands-on experience in Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco.
• Strong organizational and task prioritization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork.
• Fluent English skills (spoken and written) and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical engagements: design, deployment, and integration of enterprise and industrial network solutions—firewalls, SASE, NAC, and switching.
• Hands-on expertise: act as senior technical authority for complex network and security architectures.
• Incident response & troubleshooting: provide expert-level (L3) support and root cause analysis.
• Consulting & client advisory: guide clients in assessing risks and designing robust networks.
• Technical leadership: mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
• Continuous improvement: identify emerging technologies to strengthen service delivery.
• Cross-team collaboration: work with internal stakeholders and partners to deliver end-to-end solutions.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Network & Security Engineer you will join the Network & Security team supporting some of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in Europe.

Your mission is to ensure the design, administration and reliability of the network technologies that support production processes, from core IT services to industrial infrastructure. You will be part of a team responsible for maintaining the availability and robustness of networks that are critical to manufacturing continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements: Drive the design, deployment, and integration of enterprise and industrial network solutions—firewalls, SASE, NAC, and switching—ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance with industry standards.
• Hands-on expertise: Act as a senior technical authority for complex network and security architectures, including segmentation, routing and switching, wireless, firewalls and secure remote access.
• Incident response & troubleshooting: Provide expert-level (L3) support, root cause analysis, and remediation for critical network incidents.
• Consulting & client advisory: Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, guiding them in assessing risks, designing robust network architectures and planning network evolutions.
• Technical leadership: Mentor and support junior engineer conduct technical reviews, and foster knowledge-sharing within the team.
• Continuous improvement: Identify emerging technologies, and methodologies to strengthen service delivery and develop new network services offerings.
• Cross-team collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders and technology partners to deliver high-quality, end-to-end network solutions.
• Future growth (mid-term): Develop the capability to independently manage projects, coordinate technical teams, and contribute to the growth of the Network & Security practice.

Minimum Qualifications

• Higher education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in similar roles.
• Hands‑on experience in Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco
• Strong organizational and task prioritization skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork
• Fluent English skills (spoken and written) and Spanish

Nice‑to‑Have

• Relevant technical certifications (CCNP, PCNSE, or similar)
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry standards and validation requirements
• German knowledge
