GMV, located in Tres Cantos, Madrid, is looking for a technical leader to manage network and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will design, deploy, and manage complex networks both on-premise and in the cloud.

• Design and manage complex network architectures on-premise and in the cloud.
• Engage in technical tasks involving routing, firewall policies, and network monitoring.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

• Technically lead network and infrastructure projects, coordinating tasks and resources.
• Design, deployment, and management of complex network architectures (on-premise and cloud).
• Lead technical teams and engage technically in tasks such as:
  • Advanced configuration of switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Implementation of secure networks: VPNs, segmentation, firewall policies, NAT, etc.
  • Management of connectivity between physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
  • Network monitoring, traffic analysis, and incident resolution (using tools like Wireshark, SNMP, NetFlow, etc.).
  • Participation in automation tasks, scripting, and configuration documentation.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

• Ability to plan, document, and coordinate technical activities with a results-oriented approach.
• Communication skills and client interaction.
• High level of English.
• Knowledge of IP networks, dynamic routing (OSPF, BGP), switching, VLANs, STP.
• Experience with manufacturers such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.
• Knowledge of virtualized networks (VXLAN, SDN) and cloud connectivity (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with virtualization systems (VMware, Proxmox, KVM) and their integration into networks.
• Skills in securing and segmenting networks in critical environments.
