Empresa Confidencial is seeking a Network Engineer to join its Engineering team. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and evolving enterprise-grade network infrastructures in cloud and hybrid environments.

Remote within Spain with a preference for Madrid; occasional in-person collaboration and access to offices is possible. You will work with Platform, DevOps, and Operations teams to ensure high availability and secure connectivity.

Formación

• Strong expertise in networking technologies including switching, routing, and security.
• Experience with multicast, PIM, and BGP/OSPF, and knowledge of IS-IS.
• Background in cloud services and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, with good technical documentation skills.

We are looking for a Network Engineer to join the Engineering team of an innovative international technology company operating large-scale cloud and digital service platforms.

You will work alongside experienced engineers across Platform Engineering, DevOps, Product Engineering, and Operations teams, contributing to the design, implementation, and evolution of highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructures.

Location

• Remote from anywhere in Spain
• Preferred location: Madrid, for occasional in-person collaboration

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced knowledge of:
• 802.1Q
• Spanning Tree
• OSPF
• BGP
• IS-IS
• Experience with cloud services and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Solid understanding of high-availability architectures and service delivery platforms.
• Experience working with content distribution networks (CDN) and large-scale Internet services.
• Professional level of English (B2 or above).
• Fluency in Spanish.

Nice to Have

Experience with one or more of the following:

• AWS or other cloud platforms
• Python or other scripting languages
• Storage technologies and NAS environments
• Datacenter technologies
• Infrastructure monitoring and automation tools
