We are seeking a highly skilled IP Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and integration of SR-MPLS and EVPN technologies.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership in designing and configuring SR-MPLS transport planes, Traffic Engineering policies, and integrating them with MPLS / LDP networks.
- Evaluate network performance, scalability, and reliability by ensuring seamless integration with ADIF's existing infrastructure.
- Create detailed network designs focusing on Segment Routing, MPLS, and Ethernet VPN technologies.
- Oversee testing and validation of SR-MPLS and EVPN networks in a controlled lab environment to ensure performance meets objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth network transition and minimal disruption during integration.
Technical Skills Required
- Expertise in Segment Routing (SR-MPLS) including design, deployment, and integration with MPLS / LDP networks.
- Deep understanding of EVPN (Ethernet Virtual Private Networks), focusing on L3VPN, VPWS, and VPLS for Layer 2 and Layer 3 services.
- Proven experience in designing and deploying MPLS and Ethernet VPN solutions.
- Solid knowledge of MP-BGP for EVPN integration.
- Hands-on experience in configuring, deploying, and testing large-scale SR-MPLS and EVPN networks in lab and production environments.
Project Management Skills
- Ability to manage end-to-end process of network design, deployment, and integration.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with other technical and operational groups.
- Familiarity with creating and executing integration plans with minimal disruption.
Problem Solving & Analysis Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and performance analysis skills, especially in network routing and VPN technologies.
- Capacity to develop and validate design solutions against specific network performance and reliability goals.
Communication & Documentation Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to document network designs, configurations, testing results, and procedures clearly and thoroughly.
- Experience providing technical support and training to internal teams.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience working with MPLS, Segment Routing, and EVPN technologies.
- Experience with large-scale network projects and understanding of IP / MME network infrastructure.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE in Routing and Switching or Service Provider) would be beneficial.
