Job summary

Neotalent Conclusion seeks a Senior Network Architect to design and implement global network solutions for a leading international financial client. You will define architectures, standards, and roadmaps while leading technical efforts and mentoring peers.

Hybrid work model based in Barcelona, with travel as needed to support international projects and critical incidents. Strong focus on SD-WAN, SASE, security, and network automation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years in Network Engineering; at least 3 years in Architecture role.
• Experience designing global network solutions for large enterprises.
• Advanced WAN/LAN, VPN, SD-WAN, SDN, SASE knowledge.
• Security tech: Firewalls, IPS, WAF, DDoS protection.
• DNS, DHCP, IPAM, NTP expertise.
• Cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure know-how.
• Strong docs/diagrams using Visio/PowerPoint.
• Fluent English; willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Network Architect to join our teams and work with a leading international financial services client.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Lead the design and implementation of global network solutions aligned with the client's technology, security, and operational strategy.
• Define, maintain, and evolve network architectures, standards, documentation, and strategic roadmaps.
• Participate in key initiatives including cloud migrations, security transformations, office moves, and enterprise voice solutions.
• Act as the technical networking lead across projects and operations.
• Manage and support L3/L4 technical escalations for critical network incidents.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and service providers to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
• Design and optimize WAN, LAN, MAN, VPN, SD-WAN, SDN, and SASE environments.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and infrastructure controls.
• Oversee operational handovers and contribute to continuous process improvements.
• Produce detailed network documentation, architecture diagrams, executive presentations, and technical reports.
• Drive network automation, compliance, and hardening initiatives.
• Mentor team members and promote best practices and knowledge sharing across the organization.

What profile are we looking for?

• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of Network Engineering experience and at least 3 years in a Network Architecture role.
• Strong experience designing and delivering global network solutions in large and complex enterprise environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Internet, Intranet, Extranet, WAN, LAN, MAN, VPN, SD-WAN, SDN, and SASE technologies.
• Solid experience with security technologies including Firewalls, IPS, WAF, DDoS protection, Proxies, and B2B VPN solutions.
• Knowledge of Load Balancing, QoS, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and NTP services.
• Experience with cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Understanding of Active Directory, certificates, and cloud identity management solutions.
• Experience with on-premises, colocation, SaaS, and PaaS hosting environments.
• Strong documentation and diagramming skills using Visio, PowerPoint, and related tools.
• Experience with network automation technologies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Fluent English level, both written and spoken.
• Availability and willingness to travel internationally when required.

Valorable

• Cisco, Palo Alto, Aruba, Security, or Cloud certifications.
• Experience with enterprise voice solutions, including SIP and GSIP technologies.
• Knowledge of Contact Center environments and support.
• Experience with AI-driven networking, automation, and next-generation network solutions.
• Master's degree in Networking, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience within highly regulated and security-focused industries.
