Job summary

Jobgether, listing on behalf of a partner, seeks a Senior .NET Developer (Fintech) based in Spain. You will build backend services for payment processing, reconciliation, payouts and settlements in a cloud-native microservices architecture, with a strong emphasis on reliability and security.

You will work in an international, fully remote team and own technical decisions while maintaining clear documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience with C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience designing and developing microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Docker and AKS.
• Experience with SQL Server, MongoDB and Cosmos DB.
• Ability to understand, validate and explain code, including AI-generated code.
• Strong focus on clean, maintainable code and automated testing.
• Good ownership, accountability and reliable collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services for payment processing and back-office operations.
• Design resilient integrations and asynchronous workflows with patterns like idempotency and sagas.
• Build and optimize microservices to meet latency and SLA/SLO targets.
• Implement monitoring and operational practices to ensure availability.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools while ensuring code quality and test coverage.
• Review code, maintain specifications, and share knowledge with the team.
• Take ownership of deliverables and proactively address defects.
