Job summary

Morningstar is seeking experienced Senior Data Research Analysts to join our EMEA Data Team. You will ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of investment data while leading data acquisition initiatives and managing provider relationships.

You will translate internal requests into detailed specifications, drive process improvements with Lean Six Sigma, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality financial data for investors worldwide.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and at least two other European languages.
• Strong understanding of investment data and fund structures.
• Proactive problem solving with process improvements.
• Proficient in Excel and data quality methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead data initiatives to improve accuracy, timeliness, and coverage of investment data.
• Act as a data expert on fund structures, methodologies, and calculations.
• Build and maintain relationships with data providers and acquisition channels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex data issues.
• Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes and tools.
• Ensure high data accuracy, completeness, and quality for clients.
• Manage high data volumes and meet deadlines while improving workflows.
• Translate client requests into specifications and user stories for product enhancements.
