What you’ll do

• Branding: Shape our brand in motion. Create distinctive brand elements to be used in videos such as endcards, subtitles styles, transitions, etc.

• Technical Proficiency and Editing: Edit raw footage and illustrations to produce high-quality videos that meet the company’s standards and objectives.
• Trim and rearrange footage, add music, dialogue, graphics, and effects to create a visually appealing and engaging final product.
• Software proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.). Adobe Animate is a nice to have.
• Industry awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and new editing technologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of video production.

• Storyboarding and Planning: Collaborate with creative teams to understand project goals, objectives, and overall vision.
• Concept development: Contribute to the development of video concepts and storyboards.
• Pre-production: Create storyboards prior to the video edition based on precedent concepts.

• Quality Control and Collaboration: Ensure the consistency and accuracy of the final product by reviewing and refining edits as needed. Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to incorporate feedback and ensure seamless integration of visual elements.

• Organization and Time Management: Manage and organize video assets, ensuring efficient workflow and easy retrieval of files. Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand project requirements and goals.

• Creative Input: Provide creative input and suggestions to enhance the visual appeal and storytelling aspects of the videos. Contribute ideas for improving the overall video production process.

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience of 7+ years as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in video editing software and a solid understanding of video production processes.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to take and give constructive feedback.
• A creative mindset with a passion for visual storytelling.
• Time-management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
